Hi, I’m Denise Wohlwend — an independent art educator and workshop facilitator based in Liechtenstein, originally from Istanbul.
After completing my Master’s degree in Art Education (Curatorial Studies) at the Zurich University of the Arts, I wanted to create a platform where people — especially young people — could explore creativity in an open, hands-on way.
Over the years, I’ve worked on creative learning projects in Zurich, Bregenz, Istanbul, and Tanzania, developing programs that bring people closer to art and to each other.
I started Atelier Arcade to bring together everything I love about learning and making — curiosity, cultural exchange, and the joy of creating something from nothing.
I believe creativity is not just a skill, but a way of seeing — a playful openness that makes the world feel larger, kinder, and more alive.

About Atelier Arcade

Atelier Arcade is a place for creativity, imagination, and connection.
Here, we explore how art and architecture shape the way we see the world — and how creating something with our hands can help us feel more at home in it.
Every workshop is a little journey — sometimes across colors and shapes, sometimes across cities and stories.
It’s about trying things out, finding your own ideas, and seeing what happens when you give imagination some space

Atelier Arcade is about slowing down, observing, and creating with joy.
It’s where architecture meets imagination, and where everyone — children, teens, or adults — can find their own creative rhythm.
